The Party Branch Activity of the Forestry Products Headquarters on “Promoting Culture and Celebrating Red Classics” Concludes Successfully.
On November 5, 2018, Feishang Forestry Products Company organized its Party members to visit and study at the Yan'an Revolutionary Base in Shaanxi Province, carrying out a revolutionary tradition education activity titled “Promoting Culture, Celebrating Red Classics.” From 1935 to 1948, Yan'an served as the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and was the strategic rear base for the Chinese people’s struggle for liberation. Over those 13 years, this region witnessed a series of major events, including the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation.

To implement the spirit of Document No. 6 [2015] issued by the CPC Central Committee, further advance the reform of state-owned forest farms and state-owned forest areas, as well as the supply-side structural reform in the forestry sector, and promote a shift in the forestry development model—from one primarily focused on extracting economic benefits from forests to one centered on protecting forests and providing ecological services—we aim to enhance the capacity and service quality of ecological products such as forest tourism, leisure vacations, and sports-based health programs, continuously meeting the growing and pressing demands of the people for ecological well-being, and significantly elevating the strategic position of forestry in national economic development. Accordingly, our bureau has decided to launch a pilot program for the construction of “Forest Characteristic Towns” in state-owned forest farms and state-owned forest areas, in order to explore approaches and summarize experiences for the comprehensive promotion of Forest Characteristic Town development. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
