The Resource Management Department Conducts a Comprehensive Safety Inspection for Forest Fire Prevention During the Peak Fire Season.

　　Every October 1 marks the beginning of a new, critical fire-prevention period. To maximize the safety of the company’s forest resource assets, forest fire prevention has become the top priority in current resource management efforts.


　　To ensure safety and prevent accidents during the new round of key fire-prevention period, in late October, the Resource Management Department, in accordance with the company’s “Notice on Conducting a Comprehensive Inspection of Forest Fire Safety during the Key Fire-Prevention Period” (Feishang Linchan No. 2018 [46]), conducted focused inspections of forest fire prevention efforts at Taihe, Xiajiang, Poyang, and Anfu companies, tailored to their specific circumstances. This inspection campaign was centered around the principle of “focusing on key areas and emphasizing prevention.” The inspection covered seven main aspects: dissemination of forest fire prevention regulations, coverage by forest fire insurance, implementation of forest protection and fire prevention organizations, promotion of forest protection and fire prevention awareness, registration and filing status of key forest protection and fire prevention zones, stockpiling and maintenance of forest fire-fighting equipment, and implementation of forest protection and fire prevention training and drills. Based on any issues identified during the inspection, timely feedback and corrective actions were provided.


　　Ensuring effective forest fire prevention is a long-term, systematic undertaking. Inspections are merely one form of oversight. Each branch company should remain constantly vigilant, prioritize prevention efforts, and rigorously implement preventive measures in daily operations. We must firmly enforce all fire prevention regulations and wage a tough battle against forest fires during the spring and autumn seasons. With a highly responsible attitude and a pragmatic, truth-seeking work style, we must continue to do a thorough job in forest fire prevention—both now and in the future—thus building the first “firewall” to safeguard our company’s forest resources and assets!
