Exploring Red Base Sites and Revisiting Our Original Aspirations for Joining the Party—Feishang Forestry’s 2023 Party Building and Outstanding Employee Study Activity

To celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, further deepen the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, and better leverage the leading role of Party building in driving organizational vitality, the company’s Party branch organized, on June 29, a themed Party Day activity for all Party members, prospective Party members, senior executives, outstanding employees, and managers from various subsidiary companies and functional departments. The event took place at the Fang Zhimin Memorial Hall and the former residence of Fang Zhimin in Yiyang County, Shangrao City, with the aim of boosting employee enthusiasm, enhancing morale, and promoting the company’s corporate spirit ahead of the upcoming new production season.

Outside the Fang Zhimin Memorial Hall, all Party members stood solemnly under the blazing sun, led by Zhang Fang, the secretary of the Party branch, and raised their right hands to renew their oath of joining the Party. This reaffirmed their boundless loyalty to the Party and their firm determination to always follow the Party. They constantly reminded themselves of their identity as Party members and kept the Party’s oath firmly in mind, staying true to their original aspirations and bearing their mission in mind at all times.

Next, following in the footsteps of our revolutionary forebears, we made our way to the Fang Zhimin Memorial Hall. Before the statue of martyr Fang Zhimin, we laid a basket of flowers and bowed deeply in tribute, expressing our endless remembrance and respect for this heroic martyr. Afterwards, guided by the docent, we toured the memorial hall, retracing the life and revolutionary achievements of martyr Fang Zhimin, and gained a profound understanding of this great communist fighter. We were deeply moved by Comrade Fang Zhimin. The spirit of patriotism, creativity, integrity, and dedication is deeply moving.

At places such as Fang Zhimin’s former residence and the historic sites of the Min-Zhe-Gan Revolutionary Base Area, yellowed photographs and moving accounts of heroic deeds allowed everyone to relive that arduous, extraordinary, and unyielding period of revolutionary struggle. In particular, when the guide recounted the origins of Fang Zhimin’s porcelain paintings, many Party members were moved to tears on the spot. Having devoted his entire life to the cause of a beloved China, Fang Zhimin left an indelible mark, and everyone deeply appreciated his profound patriotism and great spirit.

Everyone is immersed in the rich red cultural atmosphere of the former revolutionary site. Let’s revisit the glorious years when martyr Fang Zhimin fearlessly devoted his life to the country and fought valiantly for the nation, deeply appreciating his fervent patriotic spirit. This visit and study are not only a way to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs and relive the power of our faith, but also an opportunity to draw nourishment and strengthen our resolve as we move forward. Everyone expressed: “Through this visit and study, we’ve come to understand just how hard-won today’s happy life is. We’ll surely remain true to our original aspirations, stay committed to our posts, and keep our mission firmly in mind, striving to make even greater contributions to the company’s development.”
