Building a New Chapter, Embarking on a Glorious Journey—Feishang Forestry Holds the 2022 Awards Ceremony and the 2023 Responsibility Agreement Signing Ceremony

To put into practice the Group’s principles of “practicing thrift, running enterprises economically and efficiently, and pursuing simplicity and efficiency,” on the afternoon of May 27, Jiangxi Feishang Forest Products Co., Ltd. held a “2022 Outstanding Employees Recognition Ceremony and 2023 Responsibility Agreement Signing Ceremony” in its conference room. The event was simple yet full of ceremony. Xie Youhong, Chairman of the company, along with senior executives, managers of branch companies, award-winning employees, and all staff from the headquarters attended the ceremony, which was chaired by Tan Fenfen from the Human Resources and Administration Department. Time flies like a song; the year of Renyin 2022 was an exceptionally memorable one. Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, both the Feishang Forest Products headquarters and its branch companies experienced sudden production halts, inability to sell products, and lockdowns that prevented employees from working and living normally—facing unprecedented and enormous challenges in production and operations. It was precisely under such difficult circumstances that all employees of Jiangxi Feishang Forest Products Co., Ltd., united as one, displayed unprecedented determination, resilience, and courage. Under the wise leadership of Chairman Xie Youhong, they seized every moment and fought vigorously, successfully navigating through the extremely challenging year of 2022. In the course of battling these difficulties, a group of outstanding employees emerged—those who were pragmatic, hardworking, dedicated to their posts, and exemplary leaders. This ceremony aimed to recognize these outstanding individuals, set role models, boost employee morale, and lay a solid foundation for creating even greater achievements in 2023. The ceremony kicked off with a chorus of Feishang’s signature song, “Flying Over,” whose soaring and inspiring voices conveyed hope and invigorated everyone’s spirits.

The second item on the agenda: Presentation of the 2022 Innovation Awards. First, the “Technological Improvement Achievements” Award was presented to the following organizations: Anfu Company’s Intermediate Oil-Liquid Recovery System and Rosin Aroma-Release Automatic Weighing System; Xiajiang Company’s Rosin Aroma-Release Automatic Weighing System; and Xingtai Chemical’s Granulator Drainage Pipe Renovation Project. Next, the “New Technology Promotion and Application” Award was presented to Xingtai Chemical for its innovations in product process formulations as well as its technological innovations in rosin raw materials and processes. The Innovation Awards were presented by Chen Siqing, Assistant to the General Manager.

Innovation is the soul of an enterprise and the inexhaustible driving force behind its development. Each subsidiary company is vigorously promoting technological innovation, diligently pursuing advancements in product processes and technological breakthroughs, continuously enhancing the improvement of various process equipment, and boosting production capacity. We hope they will keep up the good work and continue to push the company’s technological innovation to even greater heights.

The third item on the agenda: Commendation of Outstanding Employees and Teams. First, we will recognize eight Individual Awards (for individuals) and Team Awards (for teams), presented by CFO Zou Dongshui and Deputy General Manager Huang Wenlai. Next, we will honor three Outstanding Individual Awards, presented by Executive Deputy General Manager Deng Peng. Finally, we will present the Outstanding Manager Award, the Outstanding Team Award, as well as the Group’s Distinguished Employee Award and Outstanding Team Award, all bestowed by the company’s Chairman Xie Youhong. These outstanding employees are true master craftsmen—they painstakingly lay brick upon brick to build solid, magnificent structures. With their sense of responsibility, loyalty, and strong execution, they faithfully uphold their commitments to the company. Let us take them as role models and learn from them.

The fourth item on the agenda: Signing of the 2023 Responsibility Agreements. On behalf of the company, Chairman Xie Youhong signed the “2023 Target Responsibility Agreements” and the “2023 Annual Safety Responsibility Agreements” with members of the company’s management team, heads of various departments, and representatives from each subsidiary company. The signing and confirmation not only signify the assumption of goals and responsibilities, but also represent a powerful transmission of confidence, courage, and strength. This will help the responsible units more clearly understand their duties and pressures, thereby driving all aspects of our work to reach new heights in 2023.

Finally, Xie Youhong, Chairman of the company, delivered a concluding report and speech. He began by extending his congratulations to the outstanding employees who had been recognized. Next, he provided a comprehensive, objective, and fair summary of the company’s performance in 2022, and offered a detailed explanation and thorough plan for the company’s work in 2023. At the same time, he outlined the company’s ambitious vision and expressed heartfelt expectations for all employees.
